I have a situation here were my car was knocked by another person (Mr Wood), he claims full responsibility for the accident, He skipped a yield sign and side swiped my car. I have claimed from Outsurance for a third party claim as I feel I should not pay for damages to my car that I am not responsible for. I have put through the claim (claim number 92795280), my car was assessed and the damages amounted to R19400. The person handling this call from Outsurance is Mr Zamani Dlamini, he says that they will only pay out 60% of the claim because it is the law? Service from Outsurance is unacceptable espically when they say that they will bend over backs to help. There was no investigation done and if they did, they woud of found that there was no way i could take evasive action to avoid the accident. I find this hard to digest as I have to now cover the rest of the damages? The offer is unfair and i wont advise anyone to insure their vehiclw with them.
