My daughter (A student) was involved in an accident, a lady drove into the back of her car. The other party is also with outsurance which at the time of the accident she said that she will pay for the damages to avoid the loss of her no claim bonus. After she realised that the damages was more than she anticipated and that my daughter had severe whiplash she diverted it to outsurance. My daughter did report the accident as required by law. They first tried to get my daughter - also an outsunce client - to pay the excess. The outsurance panel-beater can not do the work for the amount allowed by outsurance with the short fall being about R6000.00.First of all it was not her mistake as she was hit from behind and secondly why should she be out of pocket, they are both outsurance clients. Nobody at Outsurnace is taking responsibility and the other party is not held accountable for the damage. The other option is to approach this with legal representation, BUT outsunce bend over backwards to solve client problems which is clearly not the case with this and ofcoarese my daughter is a student with no rights and also financially not strong she can be treated in this very unprofessional way
