On Thursday 31/01.2014 I was contacted by a consultant as I was looking for car insurance quotes. I spent over an half an hour on the phone. He said he will e-mail me the info so that I can go through all of it. At no stage did I agree to the insurance at all. I never received the above info by e-mail.
On Saturday I receive an e-mail thanking me on choosing outsurance for my vehicle insurance. I then phone to cancel whatever they thought I agreed upon and they ensured me that no monies will be deducted off my account. To my surprise over R800 was taken off my bank account on Saturday eve, after they cancelled the insurance I supposedly took. I demand an instant refund as this is against the law and my rights as I didn't agree to anything. I am outraged as this is absolutely shocking and to think that a big company like outsurance does something like this!
