NEW SAVINGS ACCOUNT

I went with my 19 year old son to open a savings account. Yesterday they would not accept a letter proving my address. Today we went back and they would not accpet my ID ocument and Drivers licence, bear in mind I am not the one wanting to open an account. My son had his ID as well as proof of Residence.

The Clerk took all our documents, and left the cubicle, without telling us what she was going to do (bad client service). after 10 minutes I went to look for her and she was on the phone, I made my irration clear, saying that what happened to client service, you should communicate with the customer, she just totally ignored him, as if I did not exist. Then she came back to say they can't open and account for my son, because my ID book has been torn.

Client centricity is veryimportant in this day and age, and sorry to say that Branch don't know what that mean. At the entrance we were met by a lady still with mop in hand asking us questions. WHAT A JOKE!!! Is is because it is situated on the Cape Flats you treat people with disdain??? I was thinking of moveing my accounts from Standard to you... but sorry no time for mickey mouse companies.
