ABSA RICHARDS BAY SERVICE IS SHOCKING

I paid up my bond in full. I received a letter stating that I had two options. I went to the bank, and had the misfortune to deal with NOZI. She filled my forms, and captured my details, AND advised me incorrectly. I pointed out repeatedly I bank with STD Bank and was assured the extra funds in my bond account would be directly deposited into my STD A/C. I also pointed out that I would not like any communication via postal addresss since I worked as a medical doctor across the country. She assured me that I would receive a phone call before anything was processed. Two months later I find out a cheque was POSTED to me? WHY??? Furthermore, when I called homeloans, I discover that I must "find" the cheque, and then put a stop on it. I dont even have details of the amount, and where it was sent to! I called GERDA who is the so called branch manager who PROMISED TO GET BACK TO ME the same day. I called again before close of business, and to enquire why she had not returned my call. She promised to call me back. She DID NOT.Im amazed. I then get a call from a very irate NOZI the following day, who was very defensive and even less helpful. RESOLVE THIS ISSUE. Dr Chetty
