Almost 3 years ago we went to Standard Bank for a Loan. We put two properties up (worth R1, 700, 000.00 Rand to buy a coffee shop they gave us almost R1, 300, 000.00 of a lone to buy the business. We paid the loan back in 2years. We then left the two properties with Standard Bank think rather than take them away and have to pay another R30, 000.00 to pass them over to Standard Bank if we wanted another Loan. Well we wanted another Loan. So we go to Standard Bank ask for a loan of 2.2 million Rand .4 months later after weeks of filling in forms loads of paper work even a C.V to prove I was capable of running a bottle store. I had for 38 years ran a butchers shop in England that turned over 3.8 million pound or over 45 million rand a year. They new we had a deadline of 17th of November 2013 but after 3.5 months they came back to use on the 1st of November and asked for more paper work. At this time they offered us 50% of the Liquor cost and 50% of the cost of the business less the amount of good will. We went away and thought about it and asked around. Mercantile bank came back to us in 4 Days and said they would give us the full amount of 2.2 million.
2 months later still cant get deeds
