Claim submitted for storm damage on 16/01/2014 and S&J Midlands Contractors appointed to do quotations for tiles broken on roof after tree fell on roof due to strong winds and rain. Contractors only came out to my home to do the quotation on tues 21/01/2014.I emailed Std bank and S&J Midlands daily informing them that due to rain everyday i am getting more damage to my ceilings due to the broken tiles on the roof. Today 27/1/2014 after i logged a complaint with Std Bank a lady named Palessa called me to inform me that they only received the quotation today from S&J Midlands. I informed her that i am still getting more damage to my ceilings due to rain we had over the weekend and it seems like we might have some more today. She asked when she can call me back to find out where exactly the extra damage is. WHEN IS STD BANK GOING TO GET MY ROOF FIXED OR DO I HAVE TO CALL IN EVERY SINGLE DAY TO REPORT MORE DAMAGE TO CEILINGS?? IN ANYCASE THE WATER MARKS DOES NOT SHOW STRAIGHT AWAY.i just received a sms from STD bank thanking me for allowing them to resolve the problem with ref no56858224.RIDICULOUS!!! NO PROBLEM WAS SOLVED.Does this mean i should take my bond somewhere else???
