I have been an fnb fun and cl ient for more than 10 years, but since this Steve guy came in the picture, I have noticed that the standards have been dropping with him. the more noise he makes, the more poor customer service and focus I discover. FNB has gained, plus minus 2000000 from other banks for the past 2 years, but with that came problems. My wife was doing her shopping sometime in November, but whe she tried to swipe her card, the system declined her transaction. Can you imagine the embarrassment she suffered then, in an effort to avoid to make a scene, she went and withdrew cash (which costs you alot of money by the way). The same scenario just happened on Saturday, It was my wife and Kids doing our Monthly groceries, came the time to pay R4200.00, The transaction was declined and the cashier had the nerve to accuse me of not having enough money in the account or a limit, REALLY! She called her supervisors, who you could see had their doubts. I ended up fighting with innocent retailers, only to realise that SETVE was at it again, I was forced to withdraw 4200, you can only imagine the charges. CHASE new clients, but work on your systems too. I want my BANK CHARGES REVERSED!!!
