I have been granted a home loan by FNB, currently pending (for some reason) while the registration is in flux with the deeds office. I mailed my Premier Banker (Shaun Pillay) who quickly responded that "FNB home loans have mentioned that all is fine on there side" and that there is a "miss in communication of some sort" by the transfer attorneys MC vd Berg of Centurion.
I contacted MC vd Berg whom have for the past two days (since September 16th) tried to get approval from FNB that the transfer (deeds office) may be registered. I sent my Premier banker a follow-up email, informing him of the situation, i.e. that the hold-up is with FNB, but I have not had any response from him since September 16th, two days ago.
While it is a pain that FNB is holding up the process, for some non-disclosed reason, it is a bigger pain that a bank provides the services of a Premier Banker whose clearly either not capable of getting to the root of the problem and is seemingly a contributor to the "miss in communication of some sort".
MC vd Berg has confirmed the hold-up seems to be with the FNB Compliance Division, but the transfer is on its last day at the deeds office to be rejected. FNB?!
