First For Women Insurance
RETAIL VALUE DROPPED MORE THAN R40000 UNBELIEVABLE

I ensured my car with first for woman in 2012 and was advised the my retail value for my Citi Rhythm 2006 was approximately R 72 000. In Feb 2013 this retail value was still the same. My car has just been in an accident this Past Sunday and towed in for assessment. I have not yet received the value of damaged, but requested the pay out value should the car be written off and NOW the about is R33 000. They have not notified me of the value going down. Its just very convenient that the amount is cut by more than half the original retail value from FEB 2013. I spoke to a lady called Allesandra in their call centre and she confirmed that the amount was still R72 000 in Feb 2013. I originally went to first for woman as this was the retail price that they game me, I paid for that amount??? Should my car be written off, what will I be able to buy a scooter?? Maybe strap my 2 & 3 year old to the wheel!!! This is absurd!!!
