Made a report about how my husband lost out on a R400 deal all because the above bank sent him an OTP number and then declined the transaction. He tried 3 more times and the same problem occurred. He eventually lost out on the deal, which lasts for about 5 minutes. Zeenath was assigned to sort out the problem. She blamed the problem on a "communication problem". She told him to call her immediately the next time he had a problem, on 01129944. This was at 08:03. We have been trying since, in vain. I called the call centre and spoke with Praveen who was unable to help. We lost out on a R500 deal this morning. I will be reporting the issue to the ombudsman if we are not compensated for the loss. We are extremely frustrated. I had a Standard Bank credit card and have closed it because of the very same issue. However I was compensated for the lost deal.
