Over the past two months, I have had the most appalling service from Standard Bank with regards to my sons bank account (into which his child support is paid). It has reached the stage that it feels like every time I want to access funds in this account, there is some reason I am prevented from doing so. This has ranged from money not clearing in Std bank to Std bank transfers, being told I have exceeded my limit when I haven't, my card being stopped without my consent and now (after swiping fine the first eve I had it), the new bank card having a mysterious problem which means I cant swipe or draw on it. Last night my son was having an asthma attack and lost his pump - I was unable to purchase the medication that he desperately needed due to this latest "problem". This could have been a fatal issue for my son due to Standard Banks uselessness.
