I tried to apply for a credit card 2 yrs ago and it was denied saying i was under debt review.
I tried to have it removed as i was not and have never been under debt review and it was such a hassle that i just went to Standard Bank and successfully applied for a credit card with them.
Friday 25th January i wanted to open a credit card with FNB and transfer the STD Bank credit card to FNB and again it was denied for the same reason.
After a whole week still nothing had been done. On Thursday 31st January I even forwarded an email from Standard Bank and the NCR saying i am not under debt review.
I was told friday 1st February that it would take about a week and should expect a call on the 11th Febuary with the result of submitting this info. I find this time unacceptable and i expect this to be sorted out as a matter of urgency, i have already wated 8 working days.
I have vehicle finance, a loan and a pertol card with FNB i do not understand what the hold up is???
