I was shocked when i received my paysilp only to find out that I have been garnisheed. After investigating i found out that i was garnished by Motlanthe attorneys on behalf of DMC on behalf of Exact. I was shocked, the last time i remember opening the exact account was in 1997.That was more that 10 years ago and in 2013 I am being garnished for that. I phoned the Motlanthe attorneys and spoke to Hilda who refused t o give me more info on the matter saying they only traced me on behalf of DMC and she would not give me more info!!! Can you believe this, they ruined my name thereafter saying they cant give me more info. I was NEVER notified of this, I was never summoned and I never even signed any AOD. Provide me proof of all of the above and also the Section 57 which I am suppose to sign before you obtain a garnishee order against my salary. Lots of companies garnishee the people accounts to eat their hard earned monies long after the retail company involved has written off the debts, and i think this DMC is one of them. I need proof please, and while you at it, also refer to THE PRESCRIPTIONS ACT 68 OF 1969 as by law you are in no position to garnishee my salary, I know my rights.
