At the beginning of the month, I didn't realise that there were insufficient funds in my account for all my debit orders and one of them bounced. I understand that I have to pay a penalty for that but why exactly am I charged a dishonouring and a honouring fee is beyond me. Your Sms balance update is so inefficient that it shows all the debit orders as having gone through. Then, 6 days later another sms to show that debit order did not go through. Standard Bank taking so long in notifying me about this has resulted in my medical aid being suspended. Can someone explain that to me?
