I am totally appalled with the service I have received from everyone I have dealt with at Metropolitan Life. I enquired about life cover for my parents while in Pietermaritzburg. I got premiums and advised the consultant I was dealing with that I will send him my ID document if I would like to proceed, and we will continue with the process once I'm in JHB. The debit orders started that very month and I picked up on it in Dec. I was also told this policy was sold by a person I have never met in my life, nor have I received ANY paperwork. I am paying for a policy I have no proof off! How it's possible to proceed without my ID docs I have no idea!!! I have sent cancellation requests but yet another debit order has been process on 01 January. I am totally disgusted and expect a REFUND ASAP!!!

For such a reputable company, the procedures that have been followed are appalling!
