I recently came to get a new card, I stood in the enquiries que as I have for the past 10 years, once I reached the front of the que I was directed to another que, no apology, no signage for the other que, I had to wait another 20 mins.
Today I had an appointment with Nancy at 10h00 a..m I arrived as is good manner 5 mins early. I advised the receptionist I was here to see Nancy and I had an appointment.By 10h30 no-one had come to apologise, or update me, the receptionist is obviously on private calls, laughing and chatting away. I came downstairs to see if the staff are more responsive here, finally one kind lady helps me, offers coffee, is more up to the standards ABSA usually delivers. 10h45 and I have still not been helped. Is ABSA saying their time is more valuable than their customers.
