What should I do now?

In Nov 2012 I applied for debt counceling. They advised that I need to close my existing accounts and cancel debit orders to avoid money grabbing. I went to Glen Marais to open my savings account and to close my cheque account. The lady that assisted me first asked why (what does it matter why? its what i want to do!)So, she said that my savings account is now active. I asked her to give me my new account information so that I can still use my internet banking. She said that its fine, i can still use the account number I'm busy with. I thought, wow, thats was easy. Also, keep in mind i do not have an overdraft never have, but for some reason absa is trying to deduct the debit order (after requesting cancelation @ festival mall, glen marais and isando absa after everyone said that it was!)my account has gone into minus and now i should pay? Why should I pay if this is not my fault? I did everything to advise that im under debt review and that they should cancel the debit orders. Your customer service is up to! You did not advise me that the account is still open! Now its incurred extra bank charges as well that I apparently have to pay for? be sure that i will be banking with FNB very soon!!
