First National Bank
Blatant At FNB

Friday 27 December I visited FNB Graaff - Reinet for the reversal of a debit order in contravention with an agreement. There were 3 enquires personnel (A black, coloured and a white lady). While waiting a white man walks in and go to the window where the white woman was, they had a chat and I expected that they will soon be over. When it did not happened I informed that there were people here before him, seeing this (I am coloured) the lady shouted at me saying that no one is fighting - I responded that no one was but she insisted that I was. When it was my turn to be helped I explained - while she continued to shook her head suggesting that I made no sense. Completed the forms and was assured that the reversed will happen during the day. Nothing happened I decided to go check my balance - no reversal done, I received an SMS later in the day from her stating that she could not reverse the transaction. The next day I was assisted by the coloured Lady Rene', she was extremely helpful and before I left the transaction was reversed. I need an apology from FNB as this is nothing more than discrimination. Also let her tell why it was impossible for her to do.
