Not refunded me my money -?

I mistakenly deposited R5000 into my closed credit card account instead of my new debit card account. It has taken 23 days and still my money has not been refunded. Had I deposited money into any other (company) closed account the refund would have been immediate. Emails, calls to discovery end with me having to prove who I am, when the deposit was made... bla bla. Had I been 23 days late with a payment to discovery the penalty would have been sever... but somehow they still have my money and I doubt I would get any interest. Am I dealing with? Had I not picked up my mistake where would that money be now or in a months time?
