I just want to raise the issue of pensioners receiving their money a day before Christmas. My mom's pension fund is administrated by Liberty Life. I send an e-mail to the company last year regarding the same matter and receive no response. I think it is inconsiderate to pay pensioners their money one day before Christmas, knowing full well there are holidays ahead in which they will not be able to get essential. My mom is 80 years old, cannot drive and has to get prescription medicine which she usually does on the 25th of each month. Now being the festive season, she is stuck and we all now what the banks and shops look like the day before Christmas. Most companies have the consideration to pay their people a little in advance before Christmas - I do that myself. I do not think some empathy and understanding in this case is uncalled for. It will not harm Liberty Life.
