My father passed away in March 2012. He had multiple Old Mutual shares. Contrary to our instruction, Old Mutual transferred the shares into the names of 3 daughters. The instruction were pretty clear, my fathers best friend was an Old Mutual advisor, he assisted us to fill in the formes - also to no avail.
We have tried for MONTHS to get this institution to sort this out. We have chopped down forests, filled in forms - you name it. Our executor has GONE to Old Mutual various times. We finally AGAIN filled in all the forms, handed them in - and Old Mutual today phones me to ask me for my MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE. I am NOT married, I have NEVER been married, I have NO other name other than the name I have repeatedly filled in on your forms, you are referring to my SISTER - how do you survive, how does your admin ever get done, do you actually know what you are doing - does anyone in your department. This must be the 5th of 6th letter in about 18 months that I have written to Hello Peter, this seems to be the ONLY WAY YOU EVER BOTHER TO GET ANYTHING DONE, you are all a total disgrace!
I held on for Eloise - the call was finally just dropped - your customer service also stinks
