On 9/12/13 I phoned [URL Removed] to find out about taking out income protection and after talking to someone at the call centre, took out the policy. After some thought that day, I decided not to proceed with the policy and within less than 24 hours sent an email to them quoting the policy number and advising that I did not wish to proceed. I was telephoned the next day by someone from the call centre and after a telephonic discussion, confirmed I was definitely not proceeding. Since then I have received emails / sms's / phone calls and despite four emails and a phone conversation with a VERY rude member of staff, I still have no response and was advised yesterday that the policy is active and a debit order will come off my account on 1/1/14. I will report this to the insurance ombudsman if my bank account is touched and please be assured that I will NEVER do business with [URL Removed] No service and rude staff.
