Standard Bank
Wrongly billed

I had a STD Bank account which I terminated around 2007. Around October 2012 I opened a funeral policy with Standard Bank and l didn't realise that they didn't ask me about my banking details. i waited for 2 - 3 months for them to start deducting and they didn't, l assumed that my application was turned down. Only around Dec 2012 then i was getting summons that l was owing STD bank of about R2500 which included return debits of R250 (MC Admin), Flexi-Cell for R115 and SBIB Insurance for R85 and I don't have an account with STD bank. And i asked for the statement from the 28/12/2011 and the balance was R0, 00. I also contacted MC Admin and they said they had no relationship with STD bank and they never asked them to deduct money fro me on their behalf, beside I paid their account in 2010 and have a Paid-up letter, so l am suprised where are they taking this money to. As for the Flexi-Cell, I also cancelled it around 2006. So they used this account which does not exist to deduct the funeral scheme, l don't know who gave them this account no because i didn't. So, they must reverse all these transactions for the funeral scheme, Flexi-cell and MC Admin. I am not owing them of anything
