I applied for a smart device on 7 Dec2013. On 10 Dec I was sent an sms saying my application was declined due to credit criteria not met. After many call to FNB I got through to someone at the credit department that told me I did not earn a salary. I figured out that FNB Smart Devices must be looking at one account only and not at my full profile that includes another account that contains my salary. The Credit department confirmed this was the case but they could not do anything about it.

Next I phoned premier banking since no premier banker was assigned to me while I am paying the fees for this services and requested it more than once. The premier banker listened to my story and told me that she would sort it out and phone me back the same day.By 12 Dec I had not heard anything and phoned premier banking again and left a message for the lady that helped me. She returned my call told me she forgot about sorting out my issue and promised to look into it. On 12 Dec told me that my application is escalated for revaluation and that someone woud call me that day to fix the problem.

I'm afraid that the device wont be in time for Christmas despite my best efforts to order in time.
