I have had an FNB account for nearly 10 years. I did a transfer into an account and a message popped up to say it was "unsuccessful", so I re did the transfer, only to receive 2 sms saying both transactions went through
I have explained my situation to FNB, but have been advised that there is no way of reversing the one fee unless I pay R225 and even then there is no guarantee that my money will be paid back
I am truly disappointed with my bank, to insist that I pay to reverse even though it's clear that the transfers are exactly the same and made within minutes of each other, what's more distressing it's the "go away and fill in the forms and we'll see" attitude regardless of the explanation
Very unhappy long term client! perhaps there are just too many clients at this bank
