It always used to be that transfers between accounts with the same bank used to clear immediately. Now if you transfer Standard to Standard it takes 24 hours to clear which is absolute nonsense. I have clients transferring into my Standard Bank business account from a Standard Bank account and it is only clearing the next day. This is terrible for small business's.
With the high bank charges you are charged on a business account the least they could do is ensure efficient clearing times on same bank transfers.
Why can the transfers within the same bank clear immediately as they used to? Why has this changed with no benefit to the client? I am not happy.
