I applied for a pledge with standard bank online hoping to get it. I've been banking with this bank for years. At first their system did a pre-screening and I was told and told me I passed it. Ok, I thought it means my credit profile is good because that what it does. Ok, I waited to get a request to submit my documents but nothing. I ended up phoning the bank. They told me that I was declined by the system. Ok, I asked why, the lady told me that I have accounts which I didn't pay. I asked her which I account she said she can't tell me I must ask NCR. I got my credit report and notice that I have only 1 listing my a stupid Hollard (a car insurance). I explained to people at standard bank Hollard was trying to debit my account while the car I was insuring with had written off and it also shows on my statement that after that the account was closed. I even sent Nonkululeko my credit report to look at it with additional supporting documents via an email she didn't get back me. I keep sending her emails no respond even now. I don't know choose this banl from start its useless. Today I phoned and I was told to enter my bank card number plus customer selected pin. This is also stupid.
