`I called Discovery, in October, to request cancellation of my policy and was told that I had to submit it to them in writing 30 days prior to the next debit order. I sent them in email on the Third of October, expecting that the premium would not be deducted in November. After receiving no confirmation that it had been cancelled, I re-emailed them on the 21st of October, and again on the 23rd of October. I accepted that it was too late for the November premium to not be taken off, however at the end of November I received notification that the debit order would go off on the second of December. I consider Discovery Life to now owe the premiums for the past two months, as I have given them ample warning to the cancellation of my policy.
