Slow assessment time

On Sunday car attempted to my car. They ripped out the steering column and ignition, cut the alarm, damaged the door lock and pulled out wires from under the glove compartment. Outsurance collected my car on Monday. When I phoned yesterday to find out what is taking so long to assess my car I was told that there are thousands of cars with hail damage and I will just have to wait my turn. My car is not drive able and parts will need to be ordered. All the auto electricians close next week which means I will not have a car until mid January and I can only have the courtesy car for two weeks. I find this unacceptable.
