No detailed explanation on services!

I have been a loyal client of FNB for a while, and I am seriously unhappy with the service i have received. A couple years ago, i took out the overdraft on my account, of which it was explained to me that this is a once off amount (in other words, once you have used it, you cannot use it again)..well today i noticed huge amount from my account has dissapeared and when i phoned customer care they explained that this a monthly amount that is available to use, and i apparantly used it last month. And now if I want to stop using it, they will charge interest fee to close. What the people? Why do you not train your staff to explain matters like this right from the beginning?? Why do banks have to always be sneaky and hide the real facts?? I am so upset. I am no boffin when it comes to bank stuff, so instead of taking clients for a ride..EXPLAIN IT PROPERLLY!!!
