First National Bank
Disability Claims Declined

I have 03 loans i took up with FNB which 02 (dates taken :27/09/11 & 23/02/2012) of those it was before i was injured at work on 29/03/2012 and 01 (taken: 08/06/12) was after 3months of injury.

I continued paying all my loans up until June 2013 when my doctor declared me permanently disable and then I applied for the disability claim.

They stopped debiting my account after i submitted the claim documents but then suddenly this month they just debited my account without communicating with me.

I phoned to enquire & i was told they declined the application.i sent emails to the lady i submitted my documents to & she told me they said it was a pre existing condition.

I dont understand what they mean because all my loans have a protection plan which states that in case of temporary/permanently disability they will be paid up.
Yes for 1 loan i was already injured but I had not been declared permanently disable by my doctor then.
Up until today i still go to the doctor monthly for checkups & monitoring.

I am unhappy about this because they did not communicate with me and give me feedback before debiting my account.

I would like my money to be refunded to my account ASAP
