At the beginning of August I sent a request to Absa Consultants requesting a benefit statement for a client. It took a month before I received a statement that was a year old and had the incorrect date of joining and value on it. I requested a corrected statement with the current value and correct date of joining for the client and to date am still waiting for it, regardless of the fact that I have been following up regularly and its gotten to the point where I am now being ignored. My emails are being read but I get no response and calling Absa doesn't help either because I get told that I can't get a statement reflecting the clients current value and that no one knows who Thabiso Seipobi is when I ask for him by name. This has to be the worst service I have ever received from a company when requesting a benefit statement and its very disappointing that a company as big as Absa can't get their act together and service their clients as they're meant to.
