From the day of registering the claim, it took budget insurance 17 Days to remove the vehicle for assessment. Inconsistancy of availability when talking to the consultant dealing with the claim, Non return of phone calls, held on mobile phone for 35 min before being able to lodge the complaint. took the matter to customer care and they confirmed that the matter was handled badly and that there was no documentation of the assessment or investigation after being told that the assessment was completed. they continuously passed the buck to village auto for non delivery of invoice for storage and towing as well as not being able to get hold of them, variious requests were made to provide proof of calls made to village auto and non of this was ever provided. we then settled the storage and towing to ensure no further delay. we received a phone call from the investigator to say the claim has been rejected due to 3rd party information "claiming" that the driver was under the influence of alcohol. he also insinuated that the policy holder provided wrong information about the regular driver of the vehicle. when requesting a ref to the current convo, the phone "conveniently" dropped the line.
