I have been a very patriotic FNB client for over 15 years and have absolutely nothing but praises for them. This is until the last few months.
A company has obtained ALL of my personal details (And many other FNB clients from what i can see) and have on 2 different occasions placed stop orders on my account unauthorized by me. I was also called today by a third company who stated a further stop order would be debited on the 25th of next month.
I then called the department. who sent me on to the General support department who then said i needed to go into a Branch... Which i did. All 3 departments had the same answer, even though i have told them a Stop Order would occur on a specific date my only option is to wait for it to occur and once it happens i can then go into a branch and reverse it.
The only other option is to actually change my account. I understand the legality of stop orders is out of there hands but SURELY if pre-warned they should be able to stop it before it happens or alternatively put in place a "confirm by client" option if the client would like this.
I would love some feedback on the above
