Dialdirect's customer care and claim procedure is really not up to scratch.
I was robbed on a Saturday and made a claim on their website the Sunday morning, the website said someone will phone back in 24 hours. I waited for about 48 hours and then phoned to follow up, and they told me the person dealing with my claim will call me back.
I waited another day, yet nobody phoned, so I phoned again, another consultant took over my case, that was on the Friday. I made him aware of the fact that I am flying out of the country the next Thursday for 2 months and need to take a computer with so that I can do my work!
He said the claim would not take that long to be processed. I emailed him all the documentation on Friday, that he required and still have not heard anything. I phoned twice yesterday and today and the call centre is not very helpful and I also sent the consultant an email to which he still has not responded.
I would definitely go with another insurance company!
