To get out of claim

I took out insurance through first for woman on a Brand New, out of the box, Kia Picanto about three months ago. At the same time I insured my 2010 Kia Koup. While I was on the line it was explained to me I must take the Koup in for a check up and assessment. I specifically asked the agent on the phone if I must take in the Picanto for assesment as well, and they said NO, NOT NEW cars, only old cars. Two weeks ago Boksburg was hit with a severe hailstorm and the picanto suffered damage. I put in a claim and a week later I get a phone call saying the claim will not be paid as I have not taken the car in for an assessment. I am told that they have listened to the recording where I was told that I had to take the Picanto in. I know what I heard. I would really like to hear the recording for myself as I know that I heard correctly.
