In March 2013 I took out a maintenance plan with motorite. It was a telephonic contract. In June 2013 I took my car for maintenance at vw Bloemfontein whereby motorite did not pay for the benefits of a maintenance plan, they informed vw that I have a service plan. I felt it's a breach of contract because the deliverable was not expected and I met my side of the contract. I send an email to motorite requesting cancellarion. They informed me that my account would go in arears and I would owe WESBANK even if they account was up to date. I communicated the matter to clientele legal but the matter was still not resolved to my satisfcation. The amount in arears was approx. R10 000. They required a complete canellation form for them to process the application. I did not send because I did not have R10 000. They continued deducting premiums to this day and i was under the impression that the policy continued. Today when I took my vehicle to vw fourways, they could not service my car because motorite told the that I cancelled my plan. Why are they still taking my money and did not send me the necessary documents after processing the cancellation? Please help me.
