As a business customer, one would think that the customer is entitled to have some privacy when conducting their business. When it was my turn to be served, I entered the cubicle and there was already two men. I was confused and asked the teller what was going on. One of the men told me that I should not worry about them and continue with my banking while they are standing next to me.
The reason I am so angry is because not once did the teller tell these men to leave. I had to tell them off and wait for them to leave before continuing with my banking. Even then not once did the teller acknowledge he was wrong and apologise. As far as he was concerned it was nothing to have total strangers standing next to you while handling business banking transactions.
I reported the incident to the branch manager and wrote a letter of complaint. He promised to take it further but I have come to the conclusion nothing much would happen. The teller and his supervisor will continue to implement their own policies.
