Not opening of my account in time for payday

I am appalled that I go into a bank to open and account and when I leave and get told that everything has been sorted out and that this person will get back to me, I don't hear from them for a week. I call and leave messages and this person never calls me back. I send emails and I get a read receipt and I do not hear back from this person. someone else eventually helps me from the branch but due to the incompetence of the first lady, (who is apparently a team leader), its been a month and payday is around the corner and my application was only processed this week!! I have had to call and find out if my application has been processed more than twice a week. I go to the bank to fetch my card and the application has not been done for my son because they cannot find anything on the system. Its all smiles and friendly attitude when you walk in, but behind the scenes people are clearly not doing their jobs. Now I have to wait another month before my debits orders are active on the Std Bank account which means I have to transfer my money from the one account to the other account so that my debt orders can go off. I find that such bad service. I am beginning to wonder why I changed banks!
