On the 30th July 2013, an amount of R 3000.00 was withdrawn from Capitec savings account belonging to Josina Mokaku's whilst she was at work in Vereeniging. The withdrawal took place from an ATM in South of Johannesburg (Lenasia area), and this transaction was done without her approval. Despite reporting the matter to Capitec Bank and also providing proof that she was at work at the time when this incident took place, till to date she has not received any feedback or assistance from the Bank. she might be illiterate and elderly, but it does not mean that the bank must take advantage her or the situation. was committed on the account of their client and the bank has done nothing to protect their client. This is really a serious matter and requires urgent attention. Please assist this poor old lady, Bank is taking advantage of her.
