Poor service in the issueing of a cheque card

I opened up a cheque acc with standard centurion. I specifically told them that I want to collect the card from standard arcadia. I was already annoyed when I heard that I had to wait 7 days and that I had to collect it myself. Im coming from Fnb after being a client for about 15years and with Fnb you don't even wait 48hours and they deliver it to you. Only reason why I joined standard is because some of my family members are with them and it makes it easier to be linked, otherwise I would have stayed with fnb. Even the cell and internet banking of Fnb is less complicated and more user friendly than standard. I went to arcadia branch on Saturday to collect my card only to hear that its at the centurion branch and that I had to wait another 7days for it to be delivered to the arcadia branch. Can you believe it? 14days to get a card because of their incompetence when it comes to a small admin matter on a system... When I complained about this, I had to hear from customer service and complaints dept that I should have been offered with a temporary debit card. Both branches never offered me or my husband when he opened his acc at the arcadia branch. CATHY PATTERSON.
