I called MiWay this afternoon (18 November) with an intention to cancel my cover (car insurance). I was angry at the fact that even though my car has depreciated my premiums keep going up. I was fed-up with MiWay. The first operator I spoke to transferred my call to Nthati, I wasted no time telling her I wanted to cancel my cover. She asked why and informed me that she could work out a lower premium. I wanted none of it, all I wanted to hear is how to cancel the cover. She pleaded with me to hear her out which I eventually did. She checked if nothing had changed with the car, address details and worked out the calculations. She then read out the summary of the cover to me. Immediately I received an email form MiWay detailing the cover and the new premium. I must say I was happy with the premium she presented to me hence I am saying thank you Nthati. She was very patient with me and took her time explaining how things work e.g. I have to review my policy after a year. MiWay has an excellent employee in Nthati.
