Going the extra mile

Four months ago I took out medical insurance for my 2 dogs with One Pet. Early in January my dog swallowed a foreign object and almost died. We were in the Karroo and drove to Pretoria and had to see 2 vets on the way to keep the dog alive and eventually arrived in Pretoria where the dog was admitted to hospital. Three invoices later I called the One pet call centre, who I thought was very inexperienced and unprofessional in handling the claim and had to put up a huge fight to get them to pay out for I was within my right according to the policies. After a lot of frustration, being sent around from one call center agent to another, I was put through to one of the managers, Mr. Ronal Govender. Mr. Govender went out of his way to make sure my claim was handled very expeditiously. Thanks to him I am still a client with One pet.
