First National Bank
Security Risk

Good day.
I got locked out of my online banking. That I think someone tried to hack as I was not on it for some time and on my first log in it showed my account to be blocked. First of all how can FNB not have an audit trail of attempted logins. Second they want you to put in your card number as well as your pin on their web site.
As I do not trust giving that information due to a HIGH security risk I prompted to go into a branch to sort out my locked account. Once I was their I was told that the site is the only way I can unblock my account. Meaning that I need to give my card number and pin. They claim that this is a lower risk. As I worked within the Internet security environment I know this is not true. THIS IS A RISK. I asked them to reset my password with a temp password and sms to the cellphone number on there system and they claim that is a bigger risk.
I think that FNB should revisit there risk levels regarding this. ONCE AGAIN PLEASE NEVER GIVE OUT YOUR CARD NUMBER AND PIN TO ANYONE NOT EVEN YOUR BANK. RATHER GO TO A BRANCH.
