I got a loan from Bayport Financial Services for the amount of R11140.00, I paid the amount of R4294.75 and I lost my job. I notified them immediately when this happened and they understood. As soon as I started selling I started paying, I have thus far paid R8000.00 on this account but to my surprise the balance is R9296.09 which is excessive considering what the original loan amount was. This means for a loan of R11140.00 I have paid R14845.27 and still need to pay R9296.09 meaning they ought to gain R24141.36 and I still get billed interest on my statement of R430.00 on that account monthly. Money making scheme, I have handed the matter to Credit Ombud but they battling resolving the matter because Bayport is not sending them documentation. This is truly unfair, they cant bully poor people and when you call them you transferred from one agent to another using your airtime.
