I have tried to get a refund after paying a policy on a stangers life.
All my debit orders were paid out of my business account. In September 2012 I sold the business.
I had to reroute all my debit orders to my private account. I made a list of all the premiums and companies and enquired who the insured were, because I had policies for some of my employees that had to be transferred to the new owner. They came back with one policy in the name of CJ Olivier which I did not know who it was. I asked for copy of the policy document and it revealed that this person stays in Centurion I stay in Heidelberg and this guy was born in 1966 and I was born in 1950. The only correct thing on the policy is I am the beneficiary if this stranger dies. (How would I know??) and of course the bank details were my companies details. Discovery refuses to refund my money paid, in stead they send me an apology letter on the 14th October 2013 and to them the matter is settled and they just do not reply to any of my e mails.
