I was hijacked in September and when I called Prime Meridian the following day, it was clear from the onset that the insurer was not intending to ever pay out on my claim. The line of questioning and the attitude of the agent who was supposed to be assisting me strongly suggested that the intention was to find a loophole, a reason not to pay my claim. The whole processes was a nightmare almost comparable to the hijacking itself.
I am very disappointed in the level of service and I truly believe that the company is neither fair nor ethical in its approach to claims. I appreciate that the insurance industry by its very nature is a difficult business due to etc but I do believe that this is not an excuse to treat loyal customers in an undignified manner.
