AUTO ASSESSMENT OF PROPERTY/NO RESPONSE

Due to all the bad weather in Cape Town my roof leaked badly. I lodged a call with Standad Bank insurers, the assessor came out & I was informed that my claim was rejected as the damage was negligence - even though this negligence was pre bought. When delving into this I was told last week by Veena Pilay - the ONLY person that has been helpful - that my house was "auto assessed" when purchased..Please whomever did this auto assesment confirm with me the state of my house, how many walls, is there a back garden? I am APPALLED that Standard Bank takes this upon themselves and makes a decision WITHOUT consulting the buyer. How do you work out the insurance of my house, how do you work out the increase on a yearly basis as I can assure you my house DOES NOT increase by 10% every year? How do you take MY HARD EARNED money every month knowing that there has been NO physical assessment of a property bought. You have put this on me to now fix as this is NOT YOUR ISSUE. how do you sleep at night - focussing on interest ONLY and not in the assets that you have purchased .. it is absolutley disgusting. Several emails have been sent, no response, no photos no help .. WHAT AM I MEANT TO DO!
