I received a call from ABSA in regards to ABSA rewards the Friday (25 OCT). I was told that I could add this to my account for free for one year. I reluctantly agreed to this after a lengthy phone conversation of me saying I did not want issues with stopping things like this if not happy. I was assured this would not be a problem. Then I received a call on the Monday (28 Oct) to tell me that it was a mistake and the rewards was not for free and that I HAD TO CALL and cancel this!!!
I called 3 times, 1st the system was offline and I was told to call back. Which I did twice more just to be told that there was an error with my profile loading. This was escalated and I was told it would be fixed in 5-7 working days.
Then the payment was deducted from my account 2 weeks later and I had to call again!!! Just to be told that my profile had an error and could still not be loaded!!! And it would take another 5-7 days to fix!!!
Unacceptable!!!
